December 2021 Update

Back in the Office

We are grateful for our clients’ continued support and loyalty over 2021. While things have been difficult coordinating projects over these last few months, we have been lucky to be busy, getting out on-site, working remotely and not only keeping the doors open but putting on more staff which gives us more capacity for 2022. We were also excited to recently return to the office, with the appropriate COVID-safe protocols which will make collaboration between our team members much easier.

Diversi Consulting On Site Urban Development

New Team Members

We have recently welcomed Patrick our new Engineer and Debjit our new Drafter. Patrick and Debjit both have experience working in larger Engineering firms on a range of Urban Development, Subdivision, Infrastructure and Road Design projects. We are lucky to have them as part of the Diversi Consulting team.

Projects on the Go…

We have found an increase in design for Urban Development and Land Subdivisions this year as developers are wanting to lodge developments for approval and sales as soon as possible. We have also been busy over the last few months with a number of Infrastructure projects here’s just a few:

Jamison Rd Penrith

Design is progressing on major road works and traffic signals at Jamison Rd Penrith with construction expected to commence in early 2022. This project was far from standard as the site had large stormwater box culverts and major services that required us to successfully work around and incorporate in our designs.

New Waste to Energy facility

Diversi Consulting has been working on a new Waste to Energy facility and undertaking the stormwater design. The site is about 15ha however location and details are confidential at this stage but this is an exciting project with a unique design that we are proud to be collaborating on.

Tallawong Subdivision

Construction is due to start soon (in Q1 2022) on a 40-lot residential subdivision in Boundary Rd Tallawong. While the subdivision road design has been challenging with evolving Council requirement, our team has been able to create a design that has been approved, while maximising the site potential as much as possible.

Carmel Village Shopping Centre

We have completed the design for Carmel Village Shopping Centre in Box Hill. Construction has commenced and is due for completion later in 2022. We love a challenge and this project had two obstacles that we have been successfully able to resolve.

Firstly, there was a poor sub-grade that required improvement to allow for buildings and a carpark for 600 cars. Secondly the site was dissected by a significant channel that required some complex stormwater site considerations. We have been able to incorporate a combined trunk drainage and overland flow path with integrated landscaping design. This has delivered a better solution and an additional area for future development.
