The development included a 140 lot residential subdivision within the North Kellyville Growth Centre Precinct.
Diversi were engaged to provide engineering design services for the development including, on-site detention design, water sensitive urban design, civil works, road design and stormwater drainage.
The North Kellyville Growth Centre requires a series of water sensitive urban design measures which need to be delivered in series.
Due to site constraints, there were a number of complex issues which needed to be addressed in order to achieve the integrated stormwater treatment system, comprising of bio-retention swales along each proposed road. Careful consideration was required to ensure that the system functions effectively whilst minimising the impact of the stormwater on the development and achieving the treatment objectives required by Council.
